Discussing Antiquity by the River-Tung Chi-Chang
I really love when I’m able to make connections between my classes or in this case more like a comparison. Our project had us looking at a small part of a large still life and we were drawing such a small section that it’s so different than the painting above. During my Chinese history class Professor Wu had a few slides on Chinese landscape art. I just really like the juxtaposition of this painting and my drawing because in this painting the artist shows everything. Whereas I’m just trying to capture a small part of a much larger still life.
